The masterclass by Spanish winemaker, Alvar De Rios Hernandez was organized by Caucasus International University Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking with the support of the Spanish Center for Education and Culture “Iberia” on April 24.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Spanish guest shared his experience with the students in the field of viticulture and winemaking. They discussed both Spanish and Georgian wine and their varieties. Furthermore, an agreement related to the students of Caucasus International University was mentioned, which will make a cooperation with Spanish universities and wineries even more active.
The online meeting was attended by 50 guests, including students, representatives of the National Wine Agency, and Wine cellars as well as academic and administrative staff of the university.
It should be noted that the online activities of the faculty are planned weekly and anyone interested in the field can participate in it.
The next online meeting is planned for May 3, at 20:00, where Alvar De Rios Hernandez will discuss bio-direction on viticulture-winemaking.
