On December 27, the International Relations program students of Caucasus International University together with the professors summarized the main political events of the year related to the foreign policy of Georgia.
Within the framework of the discussion, special emphasis was placed on granting Georgia the status of a candidate country of the European Union and the reforms implemented or planned in this direction. They talked about the issue of restoring trust between the occupied territories and people of Georgia at the meeting. The geopolitical context of current regional conflicts and the challenges facing Georgia were also highlighted during the discussion.
The discussion was led by Alika Guchua, Head of Undergraduate Program in International Relations at Caucasus International University. Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University, Head of the university NATO and EU Research Center and Vakhtang Maisaia, head of the Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security took an active part in the meeting.
