The club – Young Scientists has been established by the initiative of the Caucasus International University Scientific Research Department which aims to encourage and support scientific research among young people.
Sesili Gogiberidze, the head of Scientific Research Department and Ketevan Shoshiashvili, Coordinator of Students’ Scientific Relations made an online presentation on May 5. The event was attended by Caucasus International University students (undergraduate and postgraduate) of the Faculties of Social Sciences and Business. During the presentation, the students became familiar with the scientific research activities of the University and the small grant competitions offered by the University Scientific Research Department to the young researchers. The competitions announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia for young researchers, as well as postgraduate students also provoked interest among the students.
Intensive meetings were planned during the online presentation where the young scientists will be given the opportunity to share research topics, problems, challenges, and the knowledge they acquired while studying at the university and in the process of scientific research. In addition, interdisciplinary researches by young scientists at the university were also emphasized, as there is a growing tendency in the modern international scientific community to cross the boundaries between disciplines and promote problem-oriented, multidisciplinary research.
The club Young Scientists has its own Facebook group, which represents a free zone of the university young scientists.
