A scientific conference dedicated to the 150th birth anniversary of Archil Jorjadze was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences on January 26.
The event was moderated by Givi Lobzhanidze, Invited Professor of Caucasus International University. He discussed the main aspects of Archil Jorjadze’s public and creative work.
Ani Gventsadze, a doctoral student at Caucasus International University, delivered a speech at the conference on the topic: “Archil Jorjadze on Women Rights”.
The event was attended by George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Caucasus International University, Tamta Tsirkvadze, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Sergo Chelidze, Supervisor of Undergraduate Program in Law.
Caucasus International University was one of the co-organizers of the event. The participants were awarded certificates towards the end of the event.
Archil Jorjadze (1872-1913), the great Georgian philosopher, sociologist, writer and public figure is one of the founders of intercultural philosophy in Georgian philosophical thought.
