On June 11–12, Caucasus International University held a meeting/masterclass on the topic “The Role of Parents and Teachers in the Process of Choosing a Profession” in Batumi (Courtyard Batumi Hotel) and Kutaisi (King David Hotel).
The events were hosted by CIU representatives, Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector, Associate Professor, and David Gvetadze, the Head of the Strategic Communications Department. Within the framework of the masterclass, the participants explored contemporary challenges related to career orientation, with a particular focus on the crucial role parents and teachers play in guiding young people as they make decisions about their future professions. The goal of the meeting was to enhance communication and coordination between schools and the university, as well as to strengthen engagement within the broader school community. This will help the youth in making informed decisions and successfully plan their career paths.
This project represents one of the strategic priorities of Caucasus International University —fostering deeper collaboration within the education sector and improving support systems for the next generation.
