The second meeting of the eighth finals was held at Tbilisi Olympic Palace on January 30, 2019. CIU team played against TSU-Hyundai.
The match turned out to be quite tensed and interesting. The third period of the meeting was the turning point. The fate of the game was defined at the last quarter when CIU team advanced by 13 points as the result of team work.
Nika Metskhvarishvili and Wendell Louis scored 18 points each, in addition, the latter also had 10 rebounds. Beka Tsivtsivadze is worth mentioning from CIU, who scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and had 3 passes.
The game finally ended with the advantage of CIU with the score 70:62 (23:16; 11:18; 20:9; 16:19).
With the above mentioned victory, CIU drew (1:1) in the eighth final. The date of the concluding, decisive meeting will be known in the near future.
