A field lecture was organized for 3rd and 4th year students of the Management and Finance programs of the Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University. The event took place on the basis of Badagoni in Kakheti region. The lecture is held every semester for various groups and is organized by Rusudan Dalakishvili, Head of CIU Master’s Program in International Marketing and Mamuka Toria, Head of the Bachelor's Program in Management. The activity is fully funded by Caucasus International University.
Please note that “Badagoni” was founded in 2006 and specializes in producing wines, sparkling wines, and chacha. The chief enologist of the company is renowned Italian oenologist Dr. Donato Lanati, a recipient of the prestigious “Oscar of Wine” award and a member of the world’s top five enologists.
During their visit to the company, the students became familiar with the organizational structure of the company, and the operation principles of Management, Marketing and other departments. Nana Mancharauli, a representative of “Badagoni”, provided a detailed overview of the company history and current activities. In addition, they also watched a film about the company and its activities. Furthermore, students had the opportunity to observe the production process, tour the factory and wine cellar, and learn about the unique technologies used in the production and storage of various types of wine. The visit concluded with an engaging wine-tasting session, where students tasted five different wines.
