Dermatology-Venerology and Aesthetic Medicine Section was organized by Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer within the framework of the Tenth National Congress of Georgian Allergology and Clinical Immunology at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel on June 18, 2018.
Lali Mekokishvili, Association President, CIU Dean of the Faculty of Medicine summarized the activities implemented within the framework of the national congresses since 2012. Significant issues of dermatology were also discussed at the section.
At the Dermatology-Venerology and Aesthetic Medicine section, the presenters placed emphasis on various issues such as atopic dermatitis and skin microorganisms, genital dermatitis and acne, psoriasis, and skin pigmentation treatment.
The event was attended by field specialists, academic personnel, residents and young presenters.
Dermatology-Venerology and Aesthetic Medicine section was held within the framework of the project International Scientific Conference and School – From Immuno-Diagnostics towards Personalized Targeted Immunotherapy and Immuno-Rehabilitation. The project is funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The event is organized by Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology. Caucasus International University is one of the partner organizations.
