Public Dissertation Defense of Shorena Kurdadze, a student of Doctoral Program in Business Administration was held at Caucasus International University Conference Hall on June 19, 2018. The Title of the dissertation was – Motives of Direct Foreign Investment and Their Impact on the Economy of Recipient Country.
The dissertation thesis is a scientific work presented for the academic degree of Doctor of Business Administration at the Faculty of Business of Caucasus International University. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, fifteen subchapters, conclusions and recommendations.
The scientific supervisor of Shorena Kurdadze’s dissertation thesis is Tea Kasradze, Academic Doctor of Economics, Professor of Caucasus International University and co-supervisor Davit Sikharulidze, Academic Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Vakhtang Charaia, Docotor of Economics, Associate Professor of Grigol Robakidze University and Giorgi Ghlonti, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University were the official reviewers.
The aim of the dissertation research was to reveal the motives of direct foreign investment in Georgia and to study their impact on the economy of the country by taking into consideration the peculiarities of the country and the sphere.
Shorena Kurdadze, CIU PhD students was awarded Academic Degree of Doctor of Business Administration by the decision of the Dissertation Board of the Faculty of Business.
