Caucasus International University students of the faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of their lecturer Maya Svanidze, made individual and group presentations at the conference held at Davit Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia and managed to take prizes.
Six sections were operating at the Students’ 26th Scientific Conference, in particular: Medicine-Dentistry, Law, Social Sciences and Foreign Languages.
Giorgi Kuprashvili and Tsotne Beltadze, CIU students made a presentation on Main Aspects of Vitamins and Healthy Diet, Tsira Keleneridze and Tamar Paghava presented - The Health of Teenagers and Young Adults in Georgia and the World at Medicine-Dentistry section.
The next group presentation which referred to seasonal flu was made by Teona Barbakadze and Salome Khoperia. Salome Chargazia and Nino Katamadze discussed Professional Diseases of Cement Plant Workers.
As for Kristine Tsikolia, she made an individual presentation on the topic Pain Types.
The winners of the I, II and III places were named at the Medicine-Dentistry section, like other sections, by the decision of the committee.
The first place was taken by Murtaz Bokhua, DAUG student, the other two places were occupied by CIU students: II place – Nino Katamadze and Salome Chargazia, III place – Kristine Tsikolia.
Upon the completion of the conference the participants were awarded certificates.
