Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Caucasus International University Chancellor attended the international conference – Georgia’s European Way together with the representatives of Multimedia Centre.
The event was opened by Mikheil Janelidze, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Giorgi Margvelashvili, the President of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, a chairperson of Georgian Parliament, Christian Danielsson, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of European Commission and Zurab Pataraia, a chairperson of the Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara addressed conference participants.
The conference participants discussed the current geopolitical processes in Europe, region and world, current challenges, ways of their solution and the role of Georgia in the given political process. The presenters also placed emphasis on new forms of collaboration between European Union and its associate partner countries and the significance of the role of Georgia in providing regional stability.
The event was attended by representatives of civil society, academic circles, media and business sector, as well as representatives of legislative and executive authorities of Georgia, Europe and Eastern Partnership.
The International Conference “Georgia’s European Way” has been held in Batumi since 2007.
