The Youth Scientific Conference – Perspectives for the Development of Political Conflict Studies in Georgia was held at Caucasus International University on June 8, 2018.
The event was opened by Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of the Department of Scientific Researches at Caucasus International University and she intruded the agenda to the audience.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Günther Bächler, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus. He shared his diplomatic experience with the attending audience and placed emphasis on “Peaceful Future”.
Mr. Vasil Rukhadze, PhD in Political Science and the political analyst of the Jamestown Foundation made a presentation at the conference. He introduced his new book - Letters from the USA to the audience. Vasil Rukhadze discussed such significant issues as nepotism, unemployment and demography.
Students made presentations during the third part of the conference.
Alexandre Rusetski, Director of Caucasus Institute for International Security stated that the researches prepared by the students will be displayed not only on the scientific part of the university website, but also on the webpages of relevant organizations, due to its purpose.
The conference was organized by Caucasus International University and International School for Professional Happiness. OSCE Youth Network, Institute for Political Sciences and International School for Political Diplomacy are co-organizers of the event.
