A training on the topic: The Role of Business Associations in Georgia was held for students by the initiative of CIU Department of International Relations.
The training was conducted by Ms. Camelia Bulat, an expert of Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). Within the framework of a-day Business Association program, she discussed such topics as: the role of Business Association; specificity of such type of organizations; Comparative analysis with private companies and public institutions; procedures for creating Business Association and key elements of work.
It is worth mentioning that in the second part of the training, students were able to model their own business associations, which facilitated the development of their practical skills.
The USAID representative also provided students with the information about the photo and video competition announced within the framework of the Governing for Growth project – Reform in Prism - which is available for CIU students. Towards the end of the meeting Ms. Camelia Bulat awarded certificates to the participants.
