CIU Futsal players played against Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University team at the Universiada Super League organized by University Sports Federation.
Teams of 14 educational institutions involved in the Universiada formed 7 teams at the group stage. In total eight groups, including CIU, were granted the right to play at playoff.
The second game of the Super League started with the significant advantage of CIU and the Futsal players maintained this tendency until the end of the game.
The advantage of ball possession statistics was reflected in the final score. Aka Shavelashvili scored two goals, Merab Boltashvili and Giorgi Tsertsvadze - one.
CIU Futsal players gave no chance to their competitors and BSU team could not event manage to open a score throughout the whole game.
The meeting finally ended with the score 4:0.
