CIU Announces Submission of Students' Scientific Papers for Publication in Collection of Works

Caucasus International University is pleased to announce submission of students’ scientific papers to be published in collection of works. The project is for BA, MA and PhD students of the Faculty of Law at accredited universities in Georgia.

The submitted papers can refer to any significant issue of law, in particular, the drawbacks of Georgian legislation and practice and express authors’ viewpoints in improving the current practice.

Deadline for registration is June 10, 2018.

The papers will be peer-reviewed.

The authors will receive the results of the peer-review no later than June 30, 2018.

Formatting Guidelines:

Conference paper must be 8-10 pages;

Font of the text – Sylfaen (Georgian) and Sylfaen (Latin);

Main text font size – 11;

Footnote font size – 9;

Line spacing – 1.15;

Sources should be cited in the following format:

1. Book – author’s surname and name initial, title of the work, place of publication, year of publication, page number (Bezhitashvili O., Melkadze O., Italian State System, Tbilisi, 1977, 70);
2. Journal article – Author’s surname and name initial, title of the article in italics, title of journal, issue, year of publication, page number (Macharadze Z., Bicameral parliament of Italy: structure, functions and characteristics, Avtandil Demetrashvili’s 75 Jubilee Publication, Tbilisi, 2017, 1-15);
3. Decision of local courts – Name of court, date, decision, case №;
4. Decision of international courts, including The European Court of Human Rights – indicate the name of the case in Georgian and English in italics, date of decision making and article, web-page.

A paper that does not follow formatting guidelines will not be reviewed.
