Professor Krzysztof Kościelniak paid a working visit to CIU within the framework of bilateral agreement between Caucasus International University and Jagiellonian University, Poland.
Polish Professor held a meeting with the university representatives and discussed the intensive course - Religious Terrorism in Europe, Asia and Africa.
The intensive course, where about 100 Georgian and international CIU students from various faculties have registered, was opened by CIU Dean – Irina Ghvineria and introduced the professor to the attending audience. As stated by the Dean, such format will facilitate not only the acquisition of information but will strengthen connection between students and internationalization of higher education.
The intensive course started on 15 May and will continue for one month. Georgian and foreign students from different faculties of CIU will be able to attend lectures during working days for two academic hours, and listen to issues such as: religious terrorism, terrorist acts committed on behalf of religion, and their spread area, ethnic conflicts and international terrorism.
We would like to remind you that the intensive course was planned within the frame of the mutual collaboration between Caucasus International University and Polish Jagiellonian University which envisages exchange of students and academic personnel.
