Krzysztof Kościelniak, Professor at Jagiellonian University, Poland paid a working visit to Caucasus International University. The professor held the first meeting with CIU Rector – Kakhaber Kordzaia, Dead of the Faculty of Social Sciences – Irina Ghvineria, Head of Academic Process Management Service – Tamar Inasaridze and the representatives of International Relations Department.
CIU representatives showed the university infrastructure to the Professor who is on a-month working visit within the framework of bilateral agreement between the universities. Both sides discussed the details of the intensive course “Religious terrorism in Europe, Asia and Africa”, which will commence from 15 May. For a month, more than 50 students from different faculties of CIU will be able to attend professor’s lecture from Monday to Friday during two academic hours.
The Faculty of Social Sciences is responsible for the organizational issues of the intensive course. As stated by the Dean of the faculty, Jemal Kontselidze, a student of International Relations Program will assist and support the professor at the initial stage. Jemal is also a student of Irene Skhirtladze Polish Language and Cultural Center and has a good command of Polish language.
We would like to remind interested individuals and those registered on the course that after the completion of the intensive course, the students will obtain free credit and the participants will also be awarded certificates.
