Internal championship in football was organized by CIU Student Self Governance on 4 May. Georgian as well as international students of various CIU faculties became engaged in the tournament and their number exceeded 120.
The aim of the tournament was to select new players for CIU team.
Towards the end of the day, the best three teams were named: the third place was taken by Law team, II place – “Come Back” and the first place – “Golden”. With this victory, the best players will have opportunity to become engaged in the competitions on behalf of the university and become members of the university team in future.
As stated by CIU Student Self Governance, students will be informed about sports and cognitive events planned for this semester in the near future.
