Caucasus International University students of the Faculty of Medicine are actively preparing for participation in international scientific school conference together with Nunu Mitskevich, PhD in Biological Sciences and Immunologist.
The conference entitled – “Innovative technologies in Clinical Immunology: From Immuno-Diagnostics towards Personalized Targeted Immunotherapy and Immuno-Rehabilitation” will be held on 15-19 June, 2018 and the event is funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The Scientific School will be hosted by Caucasus International University together with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Tbilisi State Medical University. Lectures, master-classes on significant issues in fundamental and clinical immunology, immune-diagnostics and immune-therapy will be held within the framework of the school-conference. Scientific discussions on the topic of oncoimmunology will be held between the scientists and students as well as scientific, individual and group discussions among students.
CIU students, together with Immunologist Nunu Mitskevich, study the scientific publications of the foreign scientists participating in the conference sent in advance, analyze and discuss the scientific papers and prepare presentations. It is worth mentioning that the second and third stage Georgian and international students of the faculty of Medicine across Georgia will become engaged in the school-conference.
Scientific members of the staff from European and American top rating universities and leading research centres (California Cancer Centre, University of Pittsburgh, University of Westminster, University of Vienna, etc.) will attend the school conference.
