Marketing Research Laboratory has been founded on the base of the Faculty of Business at Caucasus International University. Its main aim is to assist Georgian business sector in conducting market research.
Eight senior students (Ketevan Iantbelidze, Nino Zoidze, Omar Vibliani, Giorgi Tatishvili, Mariam Liparteliani, Giorgi Maisuradze, Teona Dighmelashvili and Erekle Khintibidze) of CIU faculty of Business, Finances, Tourism and Management became engaged in laboratory activities and implemented the first research together with Kakhaber Jakeli, Supervisor of BA Educational Program in Business Administration.
Customer organization was "Mzianeti" Ltd; The survey was going on for 2 months. In the field of engine oil market research, students carried out more than 100 companies and handed out a strategic plan developed with team results.

The concluding meeting of the research was held on 13 April. Irma Makharashvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Business awarded certificates to the project participants.
It is worth mentioning that the head of CIU Marketing Research Laboratory – Kakhaber Jakeli and students will participate in Students’ 13th International Symposium held in Cracow on 17-24 April. The aim of the conference is to deepen scientific research cooperation and student relations. 250 students of various nationalities are engaged in it together with Georgian ones.
CIU representatives are going to the symposium by the invitation and financial support of Cracow University of Economics and head of the faculty of International Management, Piotr Bula.
