Representative of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector, Mariam Elkanashvili conducted the training on personal data protection in higher education institutions for the representatives of CIU administration.
The trainer placed emphasis on such significant issues as: the aim of data processing, expiration date, the basics, the processing of special category data.
Mariam Elkanashvili discussed special regulations and reviewed issues of biometric data, biometric data, video surveillance and data transmission.
We would like to remind you strengthening of personal data protection is one of the priorities of EU and UN Joint Initiative “Human Rights for All”. The three-year program facilitates the implementation of the National Strategy and Action Plan of Human Rights.
