A jubilee event dedicated to 69th Republic Day of India organized by Cultural Diversity “For Peaceful Future” was held at the Hall of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University. As stated by Darpan Prasher, CIU Adviser to Rector in International Relations Issues, Georgia and India are united by centuries-old history and culture and every initiative that will deepen the relation between these two countries should be encouraged.
“Freska”, “Lasha-Giorgi”, “Babylon”, “Ghana”, Vastak and Dev Prashers and other famous performers participated in the concert together with CIU Indian students. They presented choreographic and musical performances.
The event was attended by the representatives of CIU administration together with other invited guests.
Darpan Prasher, founder of Cultural Diversity “For Peaceful Future” awarded honorary guests, participants, partners and supporters with Certificates of Appreciation at the concluding part of the event dedicated to the 69th Republic Day of India.
The money raised on the charity concert was transferred to the rehabilitation center of St. George Mtatsmindeli Monastery.
