The games of the third round of 2017-2018 “A” League was held at Tbilisi Olympic Palace. All five teams of the round held meetings alongside Caucasus International University. The game between CIU and TSU Hyundai turned out to be the most tensed and spectacular.
CIU basketball players took advantage during all four quarters of the match and ended with the scores16:14; 20:18; 23:20 and 25:16. After finishing all four quarters positively, the team won with the final score 84:68.
In a tensed battle, American Legionaries should be distinguished among CIU team: Michael Thorn scored 22 points and gained 14 rebounds; 18 points and 10 rebounds were recorded on Ryan Aaron's account, while Trevi Bainam finished the match with 16 points and 6 passes.
The team will play the next game of the fourth round of League “A” on February 6.
We would like to remind you that CIU basketball team was granted the right to play in “A” League towards the end of 2017, after successfully playing the season.
