Peter Emerson, the director of The de Borda Institute met Caucasus International University students. The invited guest delivered a lecture on the topic “Beyond Majority, Policy of Post-Conflict Society” and discussed the global problems and cases in this direction with the attending audience.
Indifferent society during election process, deficiency of election subjects, choice between two candidates, or even more complicated cases – when an elector opts against one candidate.
The speaker placed emphasis on democracy, right and left wings, conflicts and wars.
Towards the concluding part of the lecture, Peter Emerson responded to student questions and discussed particular cases by using various situational examples.
