CIU football team played against Saint Grigol Peradze Teaching University team at the Universiada Cup competition organized by University Sports Federation on 1 December.
The game was distinguished by a vast number of goals and CIU took considerable advantage.
The university ended the first half of the game with the score 3:1. However, they significantly improved the result in the second half and managed to score 10 goals.
The match ended with the score 13:1.
We would like to remind you that 34 higher education institutions distributed among six groups participate in the competition. The final of the cup will be held toward the end of December. The holders of the first and the second places and four teams holding the third place will move to the final. CIU will hold the next meeting with European University.
