CruiseT project – “Network of Competence Centres for the Developiment of Cruise Tourism in Black Sea Region”, which was to last for 3 years and finish in December, 2016 owing to its importance and significance of the issue has been extended till November, 2017.
A summarizing meeting and monitoring was held at CIU at the final stage of TEMPUS project.
The meeting was opened by Kakhaber Kodzaia, CIU Rector and he briefly introduced the agenda to the attending audience. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Chancellor greeted the guests and expressed his hope for the successful completion of the project and future collaboration.
University Rector and Chancellor showed teaching bases and laboratories to the representatives of the project. In addition, the guests visited the Centre for Regional Development of Tourism established within the framework of the project, which was equipped with personal computers produced specially for Europe. The work was carried out with the financial support of the Tempus project.
Professors involved in CIU project remembered all the events, meetings or trainings which has been held since 2014 and presented reports to a project coordinator during the meeting.
Simultaneously, Wolfgang Fuchs, a representative of one of the partner universities of Tempus project met students and discussed in details concrete tasks and examples with groups of students after theoretical studies.
