The contest is announced from 22 June, 2017.

Applicants who are interested in the academic positions must submit the following documents to the committee from 24 July to 26 July, 2017:

1. Application addressed to the committee. Appropriate specialty and academic position must be indicated (must be filled on the spot);
2. Autobiography (CV);
3. A copy of ID;
4. A photo;
5. Notarized copies of every diploma;
6. Document/s verifying scientific-pedagogic experience;
7. Document/s certifying professional experience;
8. List of scientific publications during the last ten years;
9. Copies of documents certifying participation in international and local conferences, certificate courses or trainings (under equal conditions contestants with more international conferences will be given preference);
10. Copies of documents verifying scientific scholarships and grants;   

The following additional documents are required for the academic position of Professor:

Academic Degree of Doctor or its equivalent scientific degree;

At least 6 years scientific-pedagogical experience at higher education institution;

Author/coauthor of scientific publications published during the last 10 years (under equal conditions priority will be given to a candidate who has more international publications);

Concept (description) of the educational program in the implementation of which the applicant is willing to participate;

Visage of the study course that the contestant is planning to teach after occupying the academic position;

Practical experience of working on educational program and syllabus.

In addition, the following documents are required for the academic position of Associate Professor:

Academic Degree of Doctor or its equivalent scientific degree;

At least 3 years scientific-pedagogical experience at higher education institution;

Author/coauthor of scientific publications published during the last 10 years (under equal conditions priority will be given to a candidate who has more international publications);

Visage of the study course that the contestant is planning to teach after occupying the academic position;

Practical experience of working on educational program and syllabus.

The following documents are required for the academic position of Assistant Professor:

Academic Degree of Doctor or its equivalent scientific degree (under equal conditions priority will be given to a candidate with scientific-pedagogical experience);

Author/coauthor of scientific publications published during the last 10 years (under equal conditions priority will be given to a candidate who has more international publications);

Visage of the study course that the contestant is planning to teach after occupying the academic position;

To prove professional qualification:

At least 5 years working experience on a leading position, in the field is required.

The contest will be held in two stages:

1. Selection of candidates according to the submitted documents (Short-listing candidates);
2. Interview of shortlisted candidates with a committee (upon request to deliver a simulated lecture).

Contest Conditions:

Contest application and appropriate documents must be submitted before the deadline expires;

Educational documents of a foreign country must be accompanied by a document approving their validity in accordance to Georgian legislation;

In order to define the relevance of applications with the main criteria, documents will be evaluated by the committee.

The first stage of the contest will be held on 27 July, 2017;

The second stage of the contest (if needed) will be held on 28 July, 2017;

The results will be announced on 28 July, 2017;
