CIU football team has been actively involved in meetings and games held within the framework of Business League B since October and has gained a lot of significant victories during this period.
Tbilisi Olympic Palace hosted the final match of business league between CIU and Natakhtari on 1 July, 2017. The meeting turned out to be unsuccessful for CIU players and the opponent managed to score 3 goals.
Ilia Modebadze, the coach of the CIU team positively evaluated the game and thanked the players for decent resistance and expressed hope that the team will show further improvement from the new academic year.
As for the future plans, the coach said that it is planned to select freshmen from the new semester and organize games. The best of them will have opportunity to become members of the team.
CIU football team will play beach football in Batumi in August.
