CIU Team Defeated Georgian National University for Second Time and granted Right to Play in Final

The first finalist of basketball university championship is already known.

CIU team defeated Georgian National University team for the second time in the semi-final match with a big difference (77: 63) and won the right to play in the final with this victory.

Bakar Gabisyan (22 points), Giorgi Sukhashvili (16 points), Leri Kvantaliani (15 points), Vaka Bichashvili (12 points) and Beka Karsivadze (11 points) were distinguished among CIU team during the meeting.

The team gathered in October at the beginning of the university championship, and has been trained by Levan Tkeshelashvili. They were able to gain significant victories during this time and have been able to obtain the status of the finalists on 26 June.

CIU will meet the winner among Ilia state university and Georgian Technical University in the final.
