The final of the project “Homeland Starts from My District” was held at Caucasus International University on 1 April, 2017.
The authors of the selected works presented their papers to the committee. The committee made up of four members named three winners.
Mariam Metreveli, a pupil from Surami Third Public School took the first place. CIU Chancellor awarded 300 GEL voucher of ALTAOKAY and a certificate to the winner.
Ana Barbakadze, a pupil from Surami Fourth Public School took the second place. She was awarded 200 GEL voucher of ALTAOKAY and a certificate.
As for the third place, it was taken by Giorgi Samkharadze, a pupil from Saint King Tamar Boarding School. He was awarded 100 GEL voucher of ALTAOKAY and a certificate.
Five students – Nino Tabatadze, Ia Zabakhidze, Andro Gelbakhiani, Mariam Kiknadze and Irma Berdeladze were named as the committee favourite. They received certificates and books “Painting”.
About forty pupils participated in the project. 29 participants moved to the final. Each finalist was awarded books and certificates.
Caucasus International University has organized the project “Homeland Starts from My District” for the second year.
