Shairbel Juraev, PhD student at the University of Saint Andrews, UK met Caucasus International University students on 30 March, 2017.

The guest held a public lecture on the topic – “Working out Foreign Policy in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan: Parallels and Diversities”. The speaker placed emphasis on the period since 1991. He discussed the peculiarities of development of Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, focused on significant processes and challenges facing Caucasia and Central Asia. In addition, the guest stated the peculiarities of working out foreign policy and decision making.

The second part of the meeting held in the form of question-responses. The questions of the students mainly referred to regional security and economics.
