CIU Football Team Defeated Zestafoni Team

Caucasus International University successfully participates in Business Champions League.

CIU football team defeated Zestaphoni team “Pero” with the score 4:3 on 26 March, 2017.

CIU took the advantage; the score was opened by Goga Khuroshvili. However, Giorgi Lezhava, a player from the opposing team managed to score a goal soon, after one minute.

The game turned out to be quite tensed. Both sides had appropriate situations for goal. Giorgi Tsertsvadze scored one more goal on the tenth minute and managed to advance CIU team.

CIU goalkeeper repelled penalty at the end of the first half of the match. The third goal was scored by Merab Bolotashvili, and the first half ended with the score 3:1.

Giorgi Tsertsvadze managed to score one more goal on the 28^th minute, therefore scoring two goals. 

Zestafoni team advanced during the last minutes of the game and scored two goals. Davit Khujadze scored the second goal on 34^th minute and Giorgi Lezhava did it 20 seconds earlier till the end of the game.  The game ended with the score 4:3.
