Public dissertation defense for gaining the Doctoral Degree in Business Administration was held at the Conference Hall of Caucasus International University on 16 March, 2017. The topic of Aleksandre Khvedeliani’s dissertation was “Activation of Risk Capital in Banking System of Georgia”.
The scientific supervisor of the thesis is Irrina Mamaladze, Doctor of Economics, CIU Associate Professor.
The aim of the study was to define necessary conditions required for the effective functioning on the basis of explaining the essence of capital and working out practical recommendations for organizing and regulating venture capital market.
The object of the research is economic relationships which are formed in the process of the formation and functioning of venture capital.
The work consists of 3 chapters and a conclusion. Chapter one defines the economic essence of venture capital and its peculiarities, chapter two deals with the peculiarities of venture capital market and chapter three places emphasis on the forms of regulation of venture capital.
Doctorate student Aleksandre khvedeliani has been awarded Academic Degree of Doctor of Business Administration.
