Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Caucasus International University Chancellor and Abba Alaverdeli, a Chairperson of Georgian Traditional Wine Foundation signed a memorandum of mutual collaboration on 10 March, 2017.
The foundation offers the university students and academic personnel scientific-research activities and provides the implementation of the practical component on its own material-technical base within the framework of the given memorandum. Students will have opportunity to participate in field and research activities.
The memorandum was signed on the basis of CIU Marani “Kolkkhi”. The representatives of the university showed the guests rooms of Ampelography and Degustation, laboratory of wine and vine genetics-selection and library – laboratories will start working in the near future and students will have opportunity to do researches.
As stated by CIU Vice-Chancellor Ketevan Jurkhadze, a special reception will start operating in this base and it will provide wine analysis for small entrepreneurs. It will be a step forward in making high-quality and healthy wine.
