A memorandum of mutual collaboration was signed between Caucasus International University and the Ministry of Corrections and Probations of Georgia on 1 March, 2017. The document was signed by Kakha Kakhishvili, Minster of Corrections and Probations of Georgia and Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University.
According to the contest results fourth-year BA students, MA and PhD students will have an opportunity to become engaged in the internship program offered by the Ministry within the frame of the above mentioned memorandum.
As stated by Kakha Kakhishvili, the Ministry of Corrections and Probations of Georgia constantly collaborates with higher education institutions which is beneficial for both parties.
CIU Rector, Kakhaber Kordzia highlighted the significance of the memorandum signed between CIU and the Ministry of Corrections and Probation of Georgia as it will facilitate the internship and employment of students and increase their motivation.
The rights and obligations of both parties are clearly defined which envisage the assistance in the process of preparing BA and MA thesis, the engagement of the representatives of the Ministry in study and scientific processes of the university and the publication of the articles and papers provided by the ministry. On the other hand, CIU will provide the organization of trainings which will be conducted by the Ministry personnel.
We would like to remind you that the signing of the memorandum between Caucasus International University and the Ministry of Corrections and Probations of Georgia was planned on 15 November within the framework of Kakha Kakhishvili’s visit and public lecture.
