Third International Conference dedicated to Political, Economic and Cultural Relations between Georgia and Iran

Caucasus International University is inviting you to the Third International Conference dedicated to Political, Economic and Cultural Relations between Georgia and Iran

CIU, Tbilisi, Georgia, June 1, 2017

The Conference aims at:

• promoting the development of common academic environment between universities of Georgia and Iran;
• encouraging scientific activity and developing efficient professional relations;
• establishing communication between participants;
• linking scientific activities of Higher Educational Institution to existing market requirements.

Working languages: Georgian, Persian, English.

Requirements:

1. People with academic degrees and academic titles working at universities and various research institutions  are able to take part in the conference;
2. The abstracts should comprise the following information:
3. First name and surname of the participant;
4. Scientific degree and academic title;
5. Name of the university or research institution;
6. Title of the paper to be submitted;
7. Abstract (no more than 300 words)
8. Abstract should be written in two of the suggested languages and paper should be written in one of the working languages;

·         The abstract and the paper should be written according to the following guidelines:

• Font: Sylfaen – for Georgian, English and Persian versions;
• Font size: headings ( title of the paper, name of the participant, name of the educational institutions, academic degree, position) – 14 Bold – for Georgian and English texts, 16 Bold – for Persian one, 12  – for main texts in Georgian and English, 14 Bold –for main text in Persian.
• Line spacing: 1.5;
• Margins: 2,5 on all sides.

3. The paper should be related to political, economic and cultural relations between Georgia and Iran and regional problems of the South Caucasus and Middle East.

Report can be presented by two authors;

4. Authors should sent abstracts and papers to the specified e-mail addresses according to the dates given below: georgia.iran@ciu.edu.ge;   maia-maiko@mail.ru

Important Dates:

1. April 26, 2017        – Deadline for sending abstracts;
2. May 15, 2017         – Deadline for  sending the full texts of the conference paper;
3. June 1,  2017          – Opening of the Conference.

Information for participants:

1. Papers presented by the participants will be published in Conference Full Papers. In addition, the participants will be given certificates after the completion of the Conference;
2. Participants will be given 10 minutes for presenting the paper and 5 minutes for debates.
