Ekaterine Kvirkvelia, Artistic Director of CIU “Wine Theatre” organized a contest in order to select new faces and actors for the theatre troupe within the framework of Caucasus International University (CIU) Student Self-Government project “Student Life” on 23 January, 2017.
Most of the candidates were amateur actors, who do not have much experience in acting. However they have really striking acting skills as stated by the Director.
The candidates had to prepare sketches in advance as well as to act out the situation impromptu in order to gain the right to become the member of the troupe. They managed their tasks quite successfully.
As stated by the Artistic Director, she will hold one more meeting with the contestants in the near future before making a final decision.
