Participants of the school-educational project final “Road of Georgian Wine” gathered at the Conference Hall of Caucasus International University.
The project aim was to prepare papers referring to vine species in Georgian regions, wine types and technologies of wine-making. Pupils of public and private schools from Georgia became engaged in the project and in total 75 works have been submitted at the first stage.
The students’ works have been evaluated by the committee and the successful projects have been selected for the final.
The committee has been made up by the following people: chairperson – CIU Deputy Chancellor Ketevan Jurkhadze, head of CIU Program in Viticulture-Winemaking - Olan Gotsiridze, project assistant of Association “Georgian Wine” – Veriko Kapanadze.
The committee favourite and the winners of the first three places have been announced on 26 December, 2016: III place – Mariam Metonidze, II place – Ani Kurkhuli, I place – Ana Saralidze.

The winners were awarded 300, 200 and 100 GEL vouchers from AltaOkay and all the participants received books and certificates.
