Caucasus International University Chancellor Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Chief Producer of Multimedia Centre Professor Nino Chalaganidze and Producer Sulkhan Meladze paid a two-day visit to Batumi on 24-25 December, 2016.
A memorandum of mutual collaboration has been signed by Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, University Chancellor and Natia Kapanadze, Director of Public Broadcaster Adjara TV and Radio within the frame of the visit in order to implement joint projects.
The above mentioned memorandum envisages the internship of the university students of BA program in journalism at Adjara TV, facilitation of scientific-research activities and providing Adjara TV with the films and videos prepared on the base of the Multimedia Centre.
The signing ceremony was attended by Nata Imedaishvili, Acting Chairperson of the Advisors Council of Public Broadcaster Adjara TV together with CIU delegation.
The university presented a cycle of programs prepared on the bases of the university multimedia centre – “Rustveli Universe”, films – “I Challenge the Whole World to Dual”, and “Last Notes” free of charge to the TV.
The event dedicated to the achievements and challenges of Public Broadcaster Adjara TV and Radio preceded the signing ceremony.
Caucasus International University delegation became familiar with Soso Sturua’s, a director of Adjara TV three-year report, Natia Kapnadaze’s, a new director, future plans, evaluation of advisors council and ongoing changes.
Caucasus International University chancellor Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze vowed support to Adjara TV and wished them success.
