Irakli Gogokhia, head of anesthesia-resuscitation at Israeli-Georgian Medical Research Clinic “Helsicore” delivered a public lecture for the students of the faculty of medicine at Caucasus International University Conference Hall on 16 December, 2016. The topic of the lecture was: “Anesthesia – during non-cardiologic surgery of patients suffering from heart diseases”.
Ischemic diseases, cardio-pathologies, arrhythmias, massive tumors - the lecturer highlighted the connection of those pathologies to three main factors: genetic, unhealthy lifestyle and stress.
Students had an opportunity to ask questions during the public meeting. Such kind of meetings and lectures will become permanent and will be held weekly for the students of the faculty of Medicine.
