Project Final – We Children Return to Our Mountain

The final of the project “We Children Return to Mountain” was held at Caucasus International University on 20 November, 2016.

About 70 pupils of public and private secondary schools from different regions participated in the project, however only the authors of 37 best works managed to move to the second stage.

10^th, 11^th and 12^th -class students showed videos prepared within the framework of the project to the committee and the audience at the project final.

The participants tried to show their own vision of the development of the mountain and the causes of migration in 10-15 minute videos.

The participants established claims for the ways of the solutions which were shown in the video during the presentation and held a discussion according to the requirements.

The best three students were chosen from 37 works by the decision of the committee.

Mikheil Gogoreliani, a contestant from Cadets Military Lyceum took the first place and he was awarded a 300-GEL voucher from “Altaokay”.

Ana Gvalia, a pupil from public school 83 took the second place and was awarded a 200 GEL voucher.     

As for the third place, two winners were revealed – Mariam Chitashvili, a student of Kvareli public school 2 and Giorgi Gelenidze, a student from Khoni public school 1. They were awarded 100 GEL vouchers.

The committee has revealed their three favorites and gave them
“The Knight in the Panther’s Skin” as a present. 

In addition, five authors of the most original works were named and they were awarded a book “Galaktionology”.

Participants without nominations were awarded Shakespeare sonnets.

All project participants were awarded icons and a certificate on behalf of the university.
