Georgian Company “GT Enology” founded by Georgian Business Holding GT GROUP and Italian Company CONSULENTE ENOLOGICA SRL in partnership with Caucasus International University held a joint conference on 19 July, 2016.
The aim of the series of “GT EnoCoferences” is to promote wine production in Georgia and its export to international market.
International experts oriented on wine production and global marketing participated in the conference.
The event was opened by Ketevan Jurkhadze, the University Vice Chancellor and she introduced to the audience the implemented and planned activities of the faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking at Caucasus International University.
The presenters from top Italian companies and State University of Florence placed emphasis on the following issues:
“Potential of Grapes according to the Size of Production”, “How to Gain, Protect and Develop the Potential of Grapes”, “Peculiarities of the Global Market of Wine (markets of European Union, America and China) and “How to Protect the Potential of Grapes: Role of Bio-tannin and Polysaccharide.”
Caucasus International University Vice Chancellor, Ketevan Jurkhadze and Professor of the State University of Florence, Analisa Romani signed a memorandum of mutual collaboration which envisages the exchange programs for students of the faculty of viticulture-winemaking and other activities.
The event was attended by Bishop Davit (Alaverdeli) and Executive Director of “Georgian Wine”, Tina Kezeli together with other honorary guests.
The first conference from the series of “GT EnoConferences” was hosted by Caucasus International University.
