Round Table – Prospects of Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation: in the Dimension of Georgia-Austria

A Round Table on the topic “Prospects of Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation: in the Dimension of Georgia and Austria” was held at Caucasus International University on 23 March, 2016. CIU Laboratory of Caucasus Geopolitical Modeling and Caucasus Research Institute of Vienna University signed an agreement of mutual collaboration.

Within the framework of the round table, the presenters placed emphasis on the following issues:

• Innovative ideas of Austrian Education System and introducing Austrian experience in Georgia, interesting projects in the field of science and education;
• Establishing global network of Caucasian Research Centres;
• Creating analytic centre in partnership with Austrian partners that will meet the interests of Tbilisi and provide Tbilisi City Hall with innovative ideas and projects in infrastructure and management.

We would like to remind you that Austrian partners visited CIU on 18 March and held a public lecture “International Value of Austrian Education System”.  The presenter Prof. Hans Georg Heinrich, a Vice-President of ICEUR, `discussed future plans with students and professors. He introduced the technical characteristics of Austrian education system and its opportunities.

As stated by Aleksandre Rusetski, Head of Innovations and Strategic Development Department, bilateral and multilateral cooperation will facilitate partnership not only with Austria, but Sweden, Italy and other European countries.
