Educational Project “First Aid”
Trainer: Lasha Dolidze, Clinical Studies Coordinator
Nowadays, traumatic injuries are increasing with the increase in the pace of life today, and they require first aid management and first aid. Of course, first aid does not apply to traumatic injuries only. Every single second is crucial for an individual being in a critical condition. If a person knows what to do before the ambulance arrives, there is a greater chance of recovery and / or survival and therefore treatment can be more effective. The purpose of the program is to promote a safe environment and develop basic skills for non-medical staff to help manage various critical situations. Non-medical staff should be able to control an injured person before the arrival of an ambulance and most importantly preserve his/her life. First aid is usually provided by a trained person with minimal equipment at the time. The aim of the event is to teach participants the basic skills which will enable them at least to preserve the life of an injured person during a critical situation.
Practical lessons will also be conducted within the framework of the event.
