International Summer School/Conference in Dermatology, with emphasis on Psychodermatology will be held at CIU Assembly Hall on July 15, 16 and 17. The event is organized by Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer and Caucasus International University (CIU).
The school will be led by Professor Jacek Szepietowski, President of The European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry, a member of Board of Directors of many international professional societies, Vice Rector of Wroclaw Medical University.
Target audience: Dermatologist-venerologists, allergists, residents of Dermatology-Venerology and Allergology programs.
Working language: English and Georgian
The aim of the school is: to introduce the updated information on the most common chronic diseases of the skin to practitioner physicians; on modern treatment methods; psycho-emotional status management and psychological support methods of dermatological patient.
School results: a participant will be able to transmit the gained knowledge in practical activity, which will help him/her to effectively manage the major chronic diseases of the skin and increase a patient’s satisfaction.
School Program:
I day (15.07) – Psoriasis
II day (16.07) – Atopic Dermatitis
III day (17.07) – Acne, Rosacea, Hidradenitis
A practical seminar/workshop will be held within the framework of the school by discussing individual clinical cases.
