The second meeting was held within the framework of the project Moot Courts. The event was initiated by CIU Faculty of Law seniors (Eter Chachua, Victoria Butskhrikidze, Nina Inasaridze, Mariam Gerlani, Kristine Khujadze, Tereza Asatiani) and the support of the Faculty of Law, the university administration and student self-governance.
The lecture was conducted by Nika Sadradze, Master of Law, former prosecutor and current lawyer at the company Your Advocate.
The presenter placed emphasis on the role of a lawyer during the moot court, his/her skills, relation with jury and the significance of their emotional background during the trial.
Nika Sadradze shared his experience with the project participants and discussed specific cases in details.
The meeting was interactive, the students asked additional questions to the presenter about the issues which represent the sphere of their interest. We would like to remind you that four moot courts will be held within the framework of the project which are scheduled on November 24 and December 1 at Tbilisi City Court.
