Spring Season of Intellect Club Ended at CIU

Caucasus International University Intellect Club hosted the third final round of sport version What? Where? When?. The championship has started since March and fifteen teams have participated in it. Ten teams opposed each other at the final stage.

Traditionally, the game consisted of 36 questions, which included black box, blitz, super blitz and guest rounds.

Mr. Amiran Kiladze, Director of Prime Audit, Mr. Archil Gogrichiani, Director of Business Technologies, Director and founder of Shungit Georgia, Mr. Iuri Kekelia, Sales Manager of the same company, Shungit Georgia partners, Mr. Andrey Mukhin, Exports General Director of Front and Ms. Ekaterine Maskaeva, Sales Manager of the company attended the game as guests. The guests symbolically asked questions to the teams. Shungit Georgia awarded each team a basket of its products and Mr. Amiran Kiladze, Director of Prime Audit established Prime Audit Cup, and the winner team will receive cash prize and the best thinker of the team will be offered internship at the company.

Intellect Club awarded certificates to the following people for the assistance provided before the start of the game: Archil Gogrichiani, Amiran Kiladze, Lasha Gelenidze. In addition, the teams Hydra, Babylon and Dream Killers were awarded certificates of gratitude for their devotedness and participation in the championship throughout the five seasons. The game was quite tensed. Four teams were competing for the first three prize places – Hydra, Brahman, Nike and The Gioconda Smile. In the course of the game there were two duels for the third place between - Hydra and Nike, which eventually ended with the victory of Nike. Gioconda Smile and Brahmans were struggling for the first place. Despite the fact that the latter had three-point advantage before the final round, The Gioconda Smile managed to return to the game, win the third round, as the result of which both teams have scored 62-62 points. The additional questions were used for the first time in the history of CIU What? Where? When? and The Gioconda Smile became the winner and was awarded the title of the champion.

First place – The Gioconda Smile (captain – Anano Burduladze);

Second place – Brahman’s Caste (captain – Marita Sheshelidze);

Third place – nike (captain – Nana Kortava).

The people taking the first, second and third places were awarded cash prizes from Intellect Club – 500, 300 and 200 GEL. Each participant received books, souvenir owls and certificates and the prize winner teams – CIU Cup.

The best thinker and a captain were also named who received books and souvenir owls. Gigi Giorgadze (The Gioconda Smile) became the best thinker of the season, and Nana Kortava (Nike) was named as the best captain.

It is worth mentioning that besides sports championship, Intellect Club organized thematic quiz-rounds (Sport, music, cinema, Game of Thrones), intellectual duels, jeopardy, brain-ring and crossword-round throughout the season. The winners of each round were awarded books and souvenirs.
