Ms. Lali Mikeladze, a supervisor of Undergraduate Educational Program in Tourism of the Faculty of Business conducted a lecture-seminar for the freshmen within the framework of the academic discipline – Foundations of Tourism. The event venue was Porakishvili Hall.
We would like to remind you that this location represents one of the important sights in Tbilisi. It is the unique example of one of the oldest Georgian dwelling houses in the district of old Avlabari which belonged to Porakishvili’s family.
At the end of the field seminar - City Where You Will Return, the students performed songs.
Ms. Lali mikeladze, program supervisor offered to students a professional tour in Old Tbilisi. Within the framework of the tour they visited historical-cultural monuments: Metekhi, Sioni, Configuration (Peristsvaleba) Monastery, Queen Darejan’s Palace, Tbilisi Jumah Mosque, Anchiskhati Basilica and tourist sights: Abanotubani, Leghvtakhevi, Souvenir Tunnel and a newly opened museum in Abanotubani. The students had information tour in the hotel “King Gorgasali”.
