Dear friends,

Please, allow me to greet you and express my deepest respect and support.

It has been more than ten years since the business representatives of two friendly countries, Azerbaijan and Georgia, have been building Caucasus International University together.

Nowadays, we can say proudly that the joint effort which has lasted for years has been successful.

Caucasus International University has been granted authorization one more time for six years by the decision of the Authorization Council for Higher Education Institutions of Georgia on November 14, 2018. The university received the highest assessment from foreign and Georgian experts.

I would like to congratulate you all, my friends!

This is the time when we feel pride.

One era has ended for our university, the period which was created by each of us, founders, administrative and academic personnel. Most importantly, students represent our future.

I decided to sincerely share with you my admiration and joy.

Working out coherent and fast development strategy plan, providing financial stability of the institution, establishing mobile, result-oriented management team, introducing and developing modern management principles and attracting qualified academic personnel – these were the stages that proceeded the acknowledgement.

On the one hand, with targeted and intensive work in order to achieve the mission and objectives of the university, and on the one hand, by taking adequate decisions of reality and future challenges, we were moving towards the goal step-by-step. The result is impressive.

Nowadays, more than 4000 students study at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs, including 700 students from 26 countries of Europe, Africa, Asia and Middle East.

The university actively collaborates with about seventy foreign educational and research centers.

Students and professors’ exchange programs and joint educational projects are being implemented within the framework of signed memorandums, as well as the co-funding of the European Union, National Science Foundation, and other donor organizations in Georgia. All these facilitates to the increase of awareness of the university internationally.

The university infrastructure has rapidly developed. Currently, the university possesses 15 000 square meters of space. A library and multimedia center have been built and equipped with modern technologies during the last year.

As the result of step-by-step modernization of the material-technical base of the medical faculty we received the clinical skills center and training-research laboratories equipped in accordance with modern international standards.

Georgia is the country of viticulture-winemaking! Asa friend of n people I am proud that our university continues this tradition in the direction of education, science and agriculture. Wine cellar “Kolkhi” with the oldest kvevris, satsnakheli has been created. 10 hectares have been covered with the vineyard offering 100 endemic species. The students of postgraduate and undergraduate programs in Viticulture-Winemaking acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills at educational-research laboratories equipped with modern technologies.

The University systematically invites the authoritative foreign experts and auditors of the educational system in order to test the efficiency of management, financial stability, study process and scientific activity. These indicate to the fact that our university has been established as a high-quality institution.

Nowadays, Caucasus International University has authority not only in Georgia but in our region as well. This is the educational and scientific institution which demonstrates Georgia in the region as a hub of big educational potential.

Every success having local, as well as global significance is one part of a huge way. Every success is accompanied by objective and sometimes subjective problems, new challenges. Our answer should be development and move forward to integration into the European educational space.

I am convinced that Caucasus International University will prepare qualified staff, researchers and scientists in future as well.

I would like to express my gratitude towards Mr. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Caucasus International University Chancellor, the Honorary Professor of Odlar Yurdu University of Baku, a long-time friend of mine and Azerbaijani people. I would like to express sincere gratitude towards Georgian colleagues, the university staff.
