Lasha Dolidze, CIU Clinical Training Coordinator (American Heart Association (AHA) trainer, UEFA accredited trainer) conducted a Certificate Course “Health Care Management” from September 3 to 28, 2018 at Caucasus International University.
The course covered 36 contact hours and the participants deepened their knowledge in the following issues:
• Policy and strategy of health care;
• Patient’s rights in health care;
• Georgian health care system;
• Brief overview of health care information system;
• Human resources in health care;
• Issues of ethics in health care, etc.
The main aim of the certificate course was to make the participants aware of the current situation in Georgia and in the world in relation to health care, problems in public health care sector, modern information technologies and search engines, the existing insurance and pharmaceutical policy, finances and health care economics of the country.
Insurance company top managers, representatives of dental clinics, doctors of various clinics, nurses, heads of resuscitation service and in total 12 people from medical field attended the certificate course. They were awarded the certificates upon the successful completion of the course.
It is noteworthy that each module of the course was conducted by a trainer invited specially for this certificate course.
